Alito Hearings Set -- Need Your Help Before Monday

TODAY, please call Senator Feinstein's San Francisco office at (415) 393-0707

Imagine deciding whether or not to confirm a man to be our newest Supreme Court justice, knowing that the future of women's health is on the line — and that you could cast the deciding vote.

That's exactly where your senators could be after the hearings for ultraconservative Samuel Alito. We can't let it get that far: the sooner your senators hear from you, the more likely they are to come out against Alito now and encourage other senators to do the same. This is your last chance to make a huge difference before the hearings begin on Monday.

Urge your senators to vote against Judge Alito's nomination.

Our nationwide Emergency Campaign to Stop Alito is shifting into high gear. We are sending a clear message through the media, on the streets, and in Senate offices: Alito is wrong for America.

We are more than halfway to our campaign goal of getting 100,000 people to urge their senators to vote against Alito. You can help us give other senators the courage to vote against Alito by flooding senate offices with letters before Monday.

Urge your senator to oppose Judge Alito and to encourage other senators to do the same.

Samuel Alito has written that he personally believes very strongly that the Constitution does not protect the right to an abortion. Do you want this man to be our country's newest Supreme Court justice?

Neither do we.

2 Actions to Protect the Supreme Court - Phone Calls and Rally
Please Join Us to SAY NO to ALITO!
 1. Call Senator Feinstein TODAY, Wednesday, January 4th

As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Feinstein's vote on Judge Alito's nomination is key. It is important for her to hear from her constituents in California to urge her to vote NO on Alito. With Senator Feinstein, every call counts. That's why, as a member of Californians for Fair and Independant Judges, Planned Parenthood has adopted TODAY to urge members of our community to make calls to the Senator. Members of other concerned advocacy groups will be calling until the judiciary committee votes on Alito's nomination at the end of January.
